CAQH Credentialing Services: Profiles Complete, Attested and Current
CAQH ProView Setup, Re-Attestation, Document Updates and Payer Authorization
CAQH credentialing starts with your CAQH ProView profile: most commercial health plans pull your credentialing information from it. An incomplete, unattested or out-of-date profile is one of the most common reasons credentialing stalls. Billing Benefit sets up or repairs your CAQH profile, keeps your documents current, re-attests on time and makes sure the right health plans can see it.

CAQH Problems We Fix
| CAQH problem | Why it costs you | How we fix it |
|---|---|---|
| Profile not attested | CAQH asks providers to re-attest every 120 days. When attestation lapses, health plans cannot rely on the profile and credentialing or recredentialing stops. | We track your attestation date and re-attest on time, after checking that every section is still accurate. |
| Expired documents | An expired license, DEA registration, board certificate or malpractice certificate of insurance leaves the profile incomplete for the plans reviewing it. | We keep current copies on file, upload renewals as soon as they arrive and remind you before anything expires. |
| Health plan cannot see your profile | Plans can only view your data after you authorize them. A missing authorization looks like a missing profile to the plan. | We set authorization for the plans you are joining and confirm each plan can access your profile. |
| Work history gaps and mismatches | Unexplained gaps, or addresses, locations and tax IDs that do not match your applications, lead to follow-up questions and delays. | We match your profile to your NPI record, license and practice details, and explain gaps before a plan asks. |
| Locked out after a move | Providers who change practices often lose their CAQH login, or the old group is still listed as managing the profile. | We help you recover access and update your practice locations and group links, so the profile shows where you work now. |

What CAQH ProView Is and Why Health Plans Use It
One profile, many health plans
CAQH ProView is a free online profile where providers enter their education, training, licenses, board certification, malpractice coverage, work history, practice locations and hospital affiliations once, instead of completing a separate application for every plan. Health plans you authorize use it to credential and recredential you. CAQH does not credential you itself: each plan still reviews your profile and decides whether to add you to its network.
How We Manage Your CAQH Profile
Setup, upkeep and re-attestation every 120 days
We collect your documents once, register or update your profile, complete every section, upload supporting documents and attest. Then we keep it current: we re-attest every 120 days, upload renewals, update locations when you move or join a group, and authorize new plans as you apply to them. Groups can have us manage CAQH for every provider in the practice.

Credentialing With the Plans That Use CAQH
From profile to in-network contract
A complete CAQH profile is the first step. We then apply to the plans you want to join, follow up until each one decides and track recredentialing. See BCBS Texas credentialing, Medicare enrollment (Medicare uses PECOS, not CAQH), Texas Medicaid enrollment and our full medical credentialing services.
Why Providers Trust Billing Benefit With CAQH
Credentialing and billing under one roof
Our Sugar Land team credentials physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and therapists for practices across the US. Because we also handle medical billing and coding, we spot credentialing problems that show up as denied claims and fix them at the source. New to the process? Read our medical credentialing guide.

CAQH Credentialing FAQs
Is CAQH the same as credentialing?
No. CAQH ProView stores and shares your credentialing information. Each health plan still reviews it and makes its own credentialing decision, and contracting is a separate step after that.
How often do I need to re-attest in CAQH?
Every 120 days. CAQH sends reminders, but if attestation lapses, plans may pause your credentialing or recredentialing until you re-attest.
Does CAQH cost anything for providers?
No. CAQH ProView is free for providers. Health plans and other organizations pay to use it.
Can you manage CAQH for our whole group?
Yes. We can manage the profile for every provider in your practice, keep a calendar of attestation and document expiry dates, and add new providers as you hire them.
